After a magical day at Disneyland Paris, come back to a genuinely quiet place in the heart of Bussy-Saint-Georges. Akela is 7 minutes from the parks by train — close enough to pop back, far enough to actually rest.
This 68 m² one-bedroom apartment sits under the eaves on the 3rd floor. Roof windows keep it bright, and the blue tones keep it calm. You get a bedroom that sleeps three, a comfortable living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen open onto the living space, a shower room in wood and beige tones, and a separate WC.
Everything is ready for families: a travel cot, a high chair and a changing mat are lent free of charge on request.
Bed linen, towels, kitchen basics, coffee and tea are all provided so you can travel light. And the RER A station is only a 4-minute walk away, for the parks as much as for central Paris.

“The location is perfect. The station is a 10-15 minute walk away which makes it perfect both for going to Disneyland and for visiting Paris. There's a supermarket by the train station which is perfect. It is in a quiet residential area and not noisy which surprised me. The beds were comfortable enough and the apartment is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. We had a few issues with our flights meaning we arrived later than we should have, but the guy was very accommodating and always willing to help. We loved our stay”

Meet your hosts
We are Krystel, Raphaël and Alain. Since 2019 we have had the pleasure of hosting travellers from all over the world in Bussy-Saint-Georges, a stone’s throw from Disneyland Paris.
Krystel, a primary school teacher, looks after the decoration of both apartments and the warm feel you will find on arrival.
Raphaël, an air traffic controller, makes sure everything runs smoothly from booking to departure.
Alain, retired from the property business, completes the team with his expertise and his standards on the quality of the homes.
We are always available to advise you and help you make the most of your stay, whether that means planning your days at Disneyland or discovering the area around us.

How many people can sleep at Akela?
Akela sleeps 5:
- Bedroom: 1 double bed (140 cm) and 1 single bed;
- Living room: 1 sofa bed (140 cm).
A travel cot for babies is lent free of charge on request.
Is there a lift at Akela?
No. Akela is on the 3rd floor with no lift. If stairs are a problem, our CasaSimba apartment is on the 2nd floor with a lift.
Where can I park near Akela?
On-street parking is free around the apartment: green zone with a disc (provided in the apartment) and an unrestricted white zone a 3-4 minute walk away.
There is also a free space in a secure underground car park, but it sits under the building opposite — the one housing our CasaSimba apartment. CasaSimba guests have priority. When the space is free we are happy to let you use it; we simply cannot promise it in advance.
Is it better to stay inside the parks or outside?
It depends on what you are after. Staying inside the resort puts you a few minutes' walk from the attractions. An apartment outside gives you a bedroom with a door for the children, a kitchen, a living room and space — in exchange for a 7-minute direct RER ride, with the station a 4-minute walk away.
For a family staying several days, that last point often matters most: being able to come back to somewhere quiet, eat without queueing and put the children to bed in a real bedroom.
How does check-in work?
Check-in is self-service, between 3pm and 11pm, and check-out is by 10am at the latest. Detailed instructions are sent to you on the morning of your arrival; for security reasons, access is programmed around the time you gave us.
These times stay flexible: tell us about your plans and we will do our best to fit around them, on arrival as on departure. Do let us know as soon as possible if anything changes, so we can adjust the access.
One exception to that flexibility: no arrival is possible after 11pm. Past that hour we can no longer welcome you remotely or step in if something goes wrong.
What is provided in the apartment?
Everything is set up so you can travel light. Beds are made with our own linen before you arrive, and you will find:
- at least one bath towel per person;
- one coffee capsule per adult per night;
- sachets of hot chocolate for children;
- a few tea bags;
- soap, shower gel and shampoo;
- one dishwasher tablet per day;
- a spare laundry capsule;
- a starter supply of toilet paper and kitchen roll.
How far is the nearest station?
Bussy-Saint-Georges station is a 4 to 5 minute walk away. It is served by the RER A, which runs directly to the Disneyland parks and to Paris.
Trains run every 10 to 15 minutes depending on the time of day.
How long does it take to reach Disneyland, La Vallée Village or Paris?
Once on the train, allow:
- 7 minutes to Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy station);
- 3 minutes to La Vallée Village (Val d’Europe station);
- 35 minutes to Paris (Châtelet–Les Halles).
How much do the train journeys cost?
A ticket costs €2.50 and is valid for up to 2 hours, with connections to the Paris metro only. Children aged 4 to 9 inclusive pay €1.25 and under-4s travel free.
Note: once you exit a station the ticket is spent — you need a new one to travel again.
Are there shops near the apartment?
There is a supermarket by the station, a 4-minute walk away, open Monday to Saturday. A convenience store is just 2 minutes from the apartment.
You will also find plenty of restaurants, 3 bakeries and at least 3 pharmacies within a 10-minute walk.
Are the apartments suitable for babies and children?
Children are very welcome. A travel cot, a high chair and a changing mat are lent free of charge, on request when you book.
Are pets allowed?
No. For hygiene reasons pets are not allowed in the apartments. The whole property is also non-smoking.
Why book direct rather than through Airbnb or Booking?
Booking from our own site means you do not pay the platforms’ service fees. You also deal with us directly, which makes special requests easier (parking, cot, arrival time).
House rules and booking conditions
Every booking implies that these house rules have been read and will be respected.
House rules
The apartment and the common areas of the building are entirely non-smoking.
The apartment is in a residential building occupied year-round. No parties are allowed and we ask you to keep noise down between 10pm and 8am so as not to disturb the neighbours.
Much as we like them, pets are not allowed in the apartment.
Wi-Fi is provided for your use. It must not be used for unlawful activity, in accordance with French Hadopi law against the illegal downloading of music and films.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is between 3pm and 11pm, and the apartment must be vacated by 10am at the latest on the day of departure.
These times are not set in stone. Tell us what would suit you: as far as our schedule allows, we are happy to adjust both arrival and departure to fit your plans.
No arrival is possible after 11pm. This is the one limit we cannot bend: past that hour we can no longer welcome you remotely or help you out if something goes wrong.
Refundable security deposit
A security deposit of €250 is requested 2 days before arrival, as a card pre-authorisation. It is only charged, in part or in full, if damage is found at the end of the stay.
Cancellation policy
Flexible rate: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. After that, and up to the day before arrival (3pm French time), 30% of the booking total remains payable (excluding cleaning fee and tourist tax). Beyond that, the full amount is payable (excluding cleaning fee and tourist tax).
Non-refundable rate: to guard against bookings made by mistake, cancellation remains free within 24 hours of booking.
Children and babies
Children are very welcome. Please let us know if a baby is coming so that we can set up the travel cot, free of charge.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.
